    Patrick Engineering Inc. upgraded an ArcIMS® site used for asset management and provided a simple interface to effectively enable American Transmission Company (ATC) to create ArcIMS® sites in less than an hour and manage site updates in minutes. Patrick created a way to allow client staff to manage ArcIMS® sites without any programming knowledge.

  • Lane Closure Tracking - URISA ESIG Distinguished System Award Winner

    Patrick Engineering Inc. (Patrick) developed the lane closure tracking application to offer a GIS based environment capable of managing lane closures. The application provides spatial analysis and approval of requested lane closures within the Illinois Tollway. In addition, the lane closure tracking application distributes the workload for closure approvals.

  • I-Plans - ACEC of Illiniois Merit Award Winner

    The Illinois Tollway retained Patrick Engineering Inc. to design and implement a GIS and relational database to be utilized for the retrieval, reproduction and distribution of engineering plans. Tollway engineers require engineering plan drawings whenever new roadway improvement projects are initiated. Until December of 2004 an engineer had to sort through tens of thousands of microfiche cards in order to deliver a requested plan.   • Illinois Tollway - Jurisdiction Application

    The purpose of the Jurisdiction Application is to facilitate the communication between Tollway officials on Tollway improvements and investment activities to political leaders during budget discussions. The application creates a number of reports based upon GIS analysis and Tollway capital budget.

  • DuPage Water Commission - Document Management

    Patrick Engineering Inc. (Patrick) designed and implemented a web-based document management system for the DuPage Water Commission (DWC). DWC staff required easy access to engineering drawings of the system infrastructure for a variety of purposes. These drawings were only available in paper format, and finding specific drawing was often a very difficult and unreliable process.
