Engineering News Record (“ENR”) Sourcebook Ranks Patrick Engineering 226th
Among Top 500 Design Firms
LISLE, Ill. (May 8, 2006) –
Patrick Engineering Inc. (Patrick) today announced that it is ranked number 226 in Engineering News-Record (ENR) Magazine’s Top 500 Design Firms listing for 2006. The firm’s ranking jumped from number 261 last year, marking the highest placement that Patrick has earned to date. Since first making the list in 1992, the firm has never been excluded from an annual ENR ranking and has increased steadily in the rankings over the past decade.
Published annually, the ENR Top 500 spotlights top-performing architectural and engineering firms according to net revenues for services performed during the previous calendar year. This year’s issue features market analysis and rankings for the largest U.S.-based firms in nine major industry sectors: general building, manufacturing, power,
water supply, sewer/ waste, industrial process/petroleum, transportation, hazardous waste and telecommunications.
“ENR is the premier publication in our industry. It is an honor to be included in the listing with the largest and most successful engineering companies in the United States, said Patrick Engineering founder and President Daniel Patrick Dietzler. “The opportunities we have received here in our home state of Illinois to develop and build our company have enabled us to diversify and grow our business into other states, he said. “Wherever we work, we ‘partner to build better infrastructure’. As engineers and project managers we partner with contractors to provide design build solutions for our clients in both the public and private sector. That formula seems to be what our clients are looking for,” Dietzler added.
More detailed information on the latest ENR Top 500 may be found in the April 24, 2006 issue of ENR, or by visiting the publication’s Web site at
